Water Heater Performance

Ensure your Water Heater is operating at peak performance

  • Never set water heater thermostat above 120 degrees.
  • Always cut power before doing any work on your water heater.
  • For most cases, the elements should be replaced if simple thermostat adjustment does not work.
  • Recommend flushing water from water heater after 1 year to remove irons in the water that corrode the lines.
  • Pour grease-cutter detergent into kitchen drains with hot water to clear periodically. Clean faucet strainers will improve water pressure.
  • Always run extra water when using the garbage disposal to clear debris or food all the way through to the outside sewer lines!
