A Note About Air Filters
A-1 American recommends changing your air conditioner’s air filters every couple of months. Delaying changing the filter risks dust entering the appliance and duct system, and cause the system to freeze up.
Your AC system needs service when:
• Blower fan is running constantly
• The thermostat reading displays a different setting than the current temperature while the air conditioner keeps running.
