“We called A-1 last year for a furnace issue. William Gilliam came out and told me what the other plumbers said was not correct after one of them put a valve that didn’t solve my problem. I dealt with it for 9 months. When we decided to convert from fuel oil to natural gas, i called William since he was honest with me before. I knew i didn’t need anyone else, but William. He and his assistant, Wes, installed my new gas furnace and did a terrific job. They ran into a glitch and called the plumbing supervisor who came by to double check William’s assertion. This kind of teamwork and professionalism is invaluable in today’s competitve climate. I wholeheartedly recommend A-1, but would ask for William Gilliam and Wes to do any furnace or boiler work. They have my full faith and trust.”

Fantastic worker
“I’m writing this about one of your technicians. His name is Bryan and he’s done a fantastic job on the two rental homes I own at 192 Haven Dr and 181 E. Evans St. in Norfolk. One of them had to have a complete sewer line replacement and then later had the rest of the piping replaced for the kitchen, deep sink, and washer. Also, had the water heater replaced with a vent up to code. On my other house, I had Bryan remove some old piping that was leaking and replaced. Although I spent a fortune, I truly value the way he tried to save me money and explained in detail what had to be done. The work he performed was top notch. If I have any plumbing problems from now on that I can’t handle myself, I’ll definitely call A-1 American and ask for Bryan to be the guy to repair what I need.”

“I emailed A-1 American early this morning to find out what to do about my clogged drain. I got a response within 10 minutes with the note that somebody would contact my shortly – boom, one of their associates called me, set up the appointment, got the technician out by 10:30, and took care of the problem. The two techs were fast and friendly. I had to post a review because I was extremely impressed by the efficiency and customer service. I work in customer service so REALLY appreciate when I meet other companies that take their job seriously and try to make a positive difference. Well done!”
